Chakra Balancing Meditation with Singing Bowls & Gongs
9:30am – 10:30am
Come relax and realign your chakras with Dr. Christie Smirl. During this guided meditation and sonic sadhana, participants will experience emotional stabilization and subtle body strengthening while submerged in the healing vibrations of singing bowls, gongs, bija mantras and methods taught in her book Chakra Alignment: A transformative guide and journal to reclaim control over your chakras and life.
Mantras for Peace and Gratitude
11:00am – 11:45am
During this class Dr. Christie Smirl will discuss the neuroscience and tradition of Vedic peace mantras. Learn how these mantras reroute neural connections, calm the nervous system, enhance digestion and the purify subtle body. Participants will learn and practice mantras for increasing multidimensional peace and gratitude.
Ayurveda for Wellness Lecture
1:00-2:15pm
Ayurveda is the ancient science of medicine from India that enables people to live in harmony with nature and their unique body constitution. Join Dr. Christie Smirl for this lecture on Ayurveda and learn how it can be immediately applied to increase your physical, mental and spiritual health.
Kid’s Story Time
3:15pm – 4:00pm
Kids and parents are invited to join Kid’s Story Time for an author reading of Brian’s Unfortunate Brainstorm and Cringy Cat. These two fun and silly family stories help children learn about Ayurvedic wellness and emotional regulation during difficult times.
